2007 Toyota Tundra Limited Review, Specs, Price, and Wallpaper
In 2007, the Toyota Tundra has been undergoing renovation. This time it comes with satisfactory performance. Luggage size truck is three times the size of the taxi with three long rows of seats. Current Tundra offers three engine choices that can be used, including 5.7-liter V8 with 381 horsepower new. Year 2000 Tundra trucks favored as recreation, but with a smaller body size, the Tundra a bit difficult to find the market of entrepreneurs and contractors who often unloading freight.
This time the Tundra comes with a larger load capacity and become eminent in the family pickup truck like the GMC Sierra twins, Dodge Ram, Ford F-150 and Nissan Titan. With six-speed transmission, the Tundra has given more satisfaction to the driver.
Equipped with 5.7-liter V8, the 2007 Toyota Tundra is ridiculously powerful and smooth delivery of the machine is impressive. Shifts from the six-speed automatic transmission is quick, and the console shifter is precise in its action, allowing drivers to make full use manual mode on the highway ramp and off-road situations. We timed a V8-equipped 5.7-liter Tundra Double Cab at amazing 6.3 seconds for the long-acceleration 0-60 mph.
Like most of the current half-ton trucks, Tundra provides a smooth highway travel and quiet, although trucks with off-road package tend to feel choppy over rain-grooved highway pavement. Light, precise steering makes for easy maneuvering in a parking lot, but some buyers may feel a bit too light at highway speeds. Handling is predictable around the corner and well-contained body roll. Unlike the previous generation Tundra, though, this truck never stopped feeling like a big vehicle and do not have a significant handling advantage against competitors such as Silverado, F-150, Ram or Titan. Braking ability of a strong point of the new Tundra, as it provides a firm, progressive pedal feel and respectable stopping distances, with a little fade in heavy use.
