It has been five years since the Honda Element has been undergoing trials. For the first time, 2009 Element EX and SC models will come with several navigation options. The dash-mounted systems monitor features 6.5-in that works to control the navigation and audio systems. In addition, single CD player hidden behind a screen, the system can also play MP3 and WMA music files from compact flash card or from your iPod or other portable music player through additional input. Nav system comes with voice activation that can recognize and enter the building number, street name, and the city for you.
Element SC models get an exclusive center console with a built-in additional audio input jack, EX models get a new console with a built-in cooler, and LX models get a basic console. Element EX and SC models also pick up a new overhead storage system, which is based on Honda’s Railport Vehicle Personalization System. Three-compartment storage area is modular and can be reset based on individual customer needs. SC models also get an exclusive Piano Black trim, copper-colored highlights, unique fabrics, and floors covered with carpet instead of rubber.
